How To: For this project, you will need to meet with your assigned group during class and complete the steps below. Don't forget, you want to persuade our principal why we should get iPads for all students in our school. Do your best work, get creative, and BE PERSUASIVE! Think about T.V. commercials, and act like you are selling something, but instead you will write a paper giving your reasons.
1. Research the positive effects of the use of iPads in the classroom. You can use the links I provided in the Resources Page. 2. Brainstorm ways that you would want to use iPads in the classroom. 3. Assign roles to each person in your group and let me know who is going to be each role. Click the Role Page on the right for a description of each role. 4. Once roles are assigned, you will print out and use the OREO graphic organizer to get your thoughts together. This is found on the Resources Page. 5. When the graphic organizer is complete and you have all your ideas ready, you can transfer your graphic organizer onto a writing paper. You will need ATLEAST 3 Facts and Supporting Reasons why iPads are useful in the classroom. 6. Upload your persuasive document onto your Group page to the right. 7. Along with your document, you will need to have at least 5 of any of the following: pictures, graphs, videos, or songs to support your claim on why iPads are important. Let me know if you need any help with this. 8. Make sure your wiki page is colorful, exciting to view, organized, spelled correctly, and links work, etc.
